NO-LIMIT TEXAS HOLDEM
No Limit Texas Holdem is known as the Cadillac of poker and is played by many professionals including Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan and Phil Ivey just to name a few. The difference between no-limit holdem and limit-holdem is that any player on any betting round may bet his entire stack. This is also known as going "All-in". Any player at the table may call this bet regardless of his stake size. If one or more players have fewer chips than the original opponent a side pot is created with the left over chips.
Ex: Let's say player 1 moved all-in with 1000 chips. Now player 2 raises and goes all-in with 1200 chips there would be a side pot of 200 chips created. Player 1 if he won would only win 1000 chips and the additional 200 chips would be returned to player 2.
Although a lot of fun, no limit texas holdem is a high risk high reward game, it is suggest that if you don't have quite a bit of poker savvy to stay away from these tables until you hone your holdem skills.Once you are ready to play no limit texas poker for real money stick to the small blind tables, try a few sit & go tournaments or multi-table poker tournaments and develop your playing style as you go.
