IF THE CARDS DON'T TALK IT'S TIME TO WALK
One of the most difficult things for any poker player is to walk away from a table! It's the "My luck will improve" philosophy! Wrong…… when the poker cards are not speaking to you time and time again it's time to get up and walk away. There are days when no matter what you will just have bad hands and poor luck.
There are times when unfortunately it is impossible to walk and most times this would be during a poker tournament or the table rules are set up so you can't leave mid game. But for the most part, players are free to come and go as they please.
Some old school players would tell you that it is not honorable to leave in mid game, however that doesn't ring true anymore! Even the best players in the world know when it's time to call it a night.
Playing poker can be lucrative if you understand your limitations. Being able to pick up what's left of your stack and calling it a night is a smarter choice than loosing your stack to the blinds.
