You also have to know that when it comes to this time in the game the blinds will be raised so each hand is an important victory. You can not stand to lose a hand for nothing unless you are positive you will not take the hand.
For example, if you are dealt a King -7 in a multiplayer poker tournament you would probably fold this had. But in a heads-up game you can raise or you may want to go all in thinking you may win the hand if it plays out since you have the second highest card.
You should switch your playing style if you have more chips that the other player and even be more aggressive trying to bully them out of the game. Do not be hesitant to make a big bet with a bad hand as, chances are, the other player will back down unless they have a killer hand.
